The restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment will ban the placing on the Europe market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants from 1 July 2006.
Xeltek is making preparation to comply to RoHS requirement at this time. The process will begin in January 2006 and all products shipped after March 2006 shall be fully complying with the RoHS requirement.
