Xeltek Corporation Xeltek (officially known as Exp Computer DBA Xeltek) is a manufacturer of universal programmer devices. The company is headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA while the main manufacturing facilities take place in Nanjing, China and a smaller branch is located in Seoul, Korea to support with R&D projects. History The company was originally founded in Korea in 1985 under the name Zeus Computer. In 1991, the company moved to Silicon Valley, CA with the new title: Xeltek. Soonam Kim, the founder and the current president of this corporation, who received an Electrical Engineering Graduate degree from Stanford University, is currently residing in Silicon Valley to oversee his business. The first device programmer manufactured by Xeltek was the UniProin, 1987. Since then, Xeltek has managed to develop over 39 different device programmers. Backed by a tradition of technical innovation, highly efficient R&D and manufacturing, total comprehension of customer requirements and sustaining good relationships with major IC manufacturers, XELTEK provides its customers with state-of-the-art programmers at revolutionary pricing to keep the pace with the rapid growth of semiconductor industry, improving performance of products, reducing costs and shortening the time-to-market. Xeltek is the leading supplier of cost effective programming solutions for memories, microcontrollers and programmable logic devices. Xeltek's family of universal programmers and adapters, combined with unparalleled device, software and customer support, provide a complete range of solutions from engineering development through volume production. We provide a total solution of device programming with SuperPro® series device programmers- from engineering to production, from PC based to stand-alone. Xeltek was the first programmer manufacturer to bring the term “Stand-Alone” programming to the universal programmer industry. Stand-alone programming is an application that allows the user to compile supported IC devices on a PC-independent platform through the help of an LCD screen that is mounted on a programming unit. Xeltek has been offering this mode since August 2000 with the launch of the SuperPro 2000 Universal Device Programmer. Xeltek has over 50+ electrical, mechanical and software engineers and technicians on staff for new product development, product engineering and technical support of its high-speed USB connected SuperPro® family of universal programmers and adapters. This commitment to engineering excellence enables Xeltek to issue new device support updates bi-weekly at no cost as well as honoring special device support requests for many programmers with only 2 weeks turn-around. Our products are sold through a worldwide network of distributors as well as directly though our own on-line store. SuperPro® is a registered trademark of XELTEK Inc. (1994 ~ 2011) Why SuperPro? XELTEK has been making SuperPro® series device programmers since 1991 and is thoroughly experienced in this business. More than 65,013+ chips in various packages from over 218 manufacturers are supported at constant reliability and the fastest speed. SuperPro® is built with the most advanced features you can imagine. SuperPro offers total solutions; various models are provided to meet your needs in low cost and high end, engineering and production, gang and cluster, PC-hosted and stand-alone use. Being located in Silicon Valley, XELTEK USA keeps good relationships with many major IC companies that are important for us to support new chips continuously. Algorithm updates are available for free and rapidly by internet. There are about 200 IC manufacturers supported. Here is a partial list of manufacturers supported. ![]() Beside XELTEK USA, XELTEK China and XELTEK Korea provide low R&D and manufacturing cost. This is the reason why we can offer you better or equal performance at much lower prices than all of our competitors. Distribution and support is available in over 46 countries including: USA, China, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, India, Egypt, Malaysia and Singapore, etc. Current Products Xeltek is a supplier of programming solutions for memories, microcontrollers and programmable logic devices such as EPROM, Paged EPROM, Parallel and Serial EEPROM, FPGA Configuration PROM, FLASH memory (NOR & NAND), BPROM, NVRAM, SPLD, CPLD, EPLD, Firmware HUB, Microcontroller, MCU, Standard Logic, etc… In 2008, Xeltek introduced 9 new programmers to the Far East Asia Market. By the end of 2009, the entire SuperPro 3000 Programmer series had been discontinued due to the lack of raw materials and at the same time being vulnerable against illegal copying. Starting in early 2010, Xeltek changed the entire product line to SuperPro 5000 Series, revealing the intention to serve the market with more sophisticated technology and emphasizing the company’s determination to continue evolving. In the year 2009,Xeltek got into the ISP Programmers market and launched their first product, SuperPro IS01, with ARM9 32Bit RISC MCU processor. By the year 2010, Xeltek had developed over 1000 socket adapter to provide solutions to support most of the packaging types for IC devices. However, by adopting the SuperPro 5000 Programmer family, the entire socket adapter design had to switch to the CX adapters series, which can only be used on SuperPro 5000 Series programmers. Xeltek has been running an R & D project for developing automated device programming systems since 2006 with the contribution of engineers in Korea and China. Although though two new products for this class have been introduced to Far East Market, Xeltek is scheduled to launch SuperBOT by the end of 2010 for the U.S market and the rest of the world. All Xeltek Programmers since 1987: UNIPRO Xeltek Edge SuperPro® is designed with the state-of-art hardware architecture with on-board high speed CPU, RTOS, FPGA, CPLD and high quality universal pin-drivers. These features enable our products as advanced programmers. Technology
